Job Description

Requirements
 

  • Engineering degree (any discipline)
  • 12-15 years' of chemical industry experience
  • Minimum 2-5 years of construction experience required
  • Experience in petrochemical and/or infrastructure projects
  •  

    General Responsibilities:  



  •  
  • BOO Scope of Work  - General coordination with JV  Partner and Design and Construction Contractors
  • Interface Management
  • Engineering Coordination
  • Engineering and construction schedules
  • Attend regular meetings at Site (St. James Parish - LA), and biweekly meetings at BRIS (New Orleans - LA)
  • Attend weekly conference calls
  • Review and follow up on monthly reports
  • Coordinate monthly progress meetings
  • Coordinate regular engineering review session with the Engineering team
  • Prepared monthly progress summary
  • Attend meetings with leadership teams
  • Attend constructability meetings and construction review meetings at site
  • Various other standalone work scopes   - Interface management

  • Site Construction and Engineering Support for Infrastructure Areas:  i.e. Water Intake, Site Prep, MOF (Marine Offloading Facilities)
  • Attend site meetings as requested to support construction activities
  • Support Site team with engineering reviews.
  • Support PM for High School Repurposing on technical documents, constructability assessments, site studies, and permits.   
  • Engineering:
  • Engineering coordination and review sessions for Infrastructure areas
  • Coordinate and facilitate engineering packages with engineering firms
  • Permits:  Support and coordination to the team
  • RFQ packages coordination for engineering SOW including writing the SOW, defining list of bidders, and facilitate the technical and commercial evaluations.
  • Procurement:
  • Write SOW document for IFB and IFC packages provided by contractors (engineering firms)
  • Coordinate bidders lists and support to Office and Site procurement teams.
