Job Description

I am recruiting for an industry lader within the industrial automation field who are operating on a global level within multiple industries to include oil & gas, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and food and beverage.
The E&I Technician role means that you are responsible for the electrical installation and perform corrective maintenance, failure analysis and repairs of
the equipment and related instrumentation,

The E&I technician will execute work according to planning, according to HSSE procedures and
regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for the electrical installation
• Is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance activities on power
supply systems, electrical & instrumentation components and related PLC, SCADA and DSC
systems
• Ensures that all work complies with HSSE policy, procedures and guidelines
• Providing E&I maintenance support and applying various calibration and troubleshooting
methods
• Registers material usage, consumption
• Supports service contractors electrical and instrumental if required
• Responsible for correct use of supplied tools and equipment and the personal toolbox
• Reports all accidents / incidents / near misses and potential hazards immediately
• Prepare work orders for electrical and instrumental work
• Attended HAZOP reviews
• Performs Operational tasks if and when required

Administrative Tasks:
• Daily reporting of all electrical and instrumental work order results (failures, technical
findings, asset status, material consumptions, etc.)
• Weekly/daily administration of hours worked (timesheets)
• Prepare material requests for E&I work
• Keeps all documentation in good order
• Updates the Operational logbook with all relevant information
