This role is geared to recent college graduates who majored in Supply Chain. The intent is to have these recent graduates work in different supply chain functions, learning the requirements of the position and contributing to the overall success of Weatherford's "end to end" Supply Chain processes and practices. This role is responsible for supporting the supply chain organization by working on projects that support best practices, lowers supply chain costs, optimizes vendor support, satisfies internal customers and increases overall efficiency.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create processes and methods to gather supply chain data.
Analyzes costs, vendor performance, vendor quality, and other supply chain key performance indicators (KPIs).
Provides various reports to supply chain management team.
Makes recommendations based on data, how to improve a particular supply chain function.
Part of the WFT team that meets with vendors on business reviews
Works closely with other supply chain functions to ensure the efficient flow of product throughout WFT's Supply Chain.
Participates in a variety of project management activities, including maintaining overall project plan.
Perform transactional tasks in WFT's ERP system, such as purchasing transactions, logistics transactions and inventory moves.
Support the creation and administration of RFP's
Assists in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures.
Helps facilitate vendor payment.
Acts as WFT's ambassador to new students entering WFT's Supply Chain.
Other supply chain functions as assigned.
A Bachelors Degree with a Major In Supply Chain.
Intern experience while attending college.
Working knowledge of MS Office, relational databases and ERP systems.
May include operation of vehicles, exposure to chemicals, etc.
Prefer intern experience in a supply chain or a business analyst function
Received certification in a supply chain or project management discipline.
