About Company

Maharashtra Natural Gas Limited, in short MNGL is a company incorporated in January 2006 to meet the City Gas distribution needs of various districts in Maharashtra. MNGL has got the PNGRB authorization for city gas distribution in Pune & Pimpri-Chinchwad city including adjoining areas of Hinjewadi, Chakan & Talegaon and subsequently will move on to other districts of Maharashtra depending on economic feasibility. MNGL is a joint venture Company of two navratna PSUs viz. Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) and GAIL (India) Limited, (GAIL) with the mission to supply clean and green (eco-friendly) fuel. Main business objectives of the company are as under :- To provide clean, environment friendly green fuel as an alternative to the conventional auto fuels like Petrol and Diesel and To provide safe, convenient and reliable piped natural gas to its customers in the domestic, commercial and industrial sectors.

Job Description

  • Location :- Pune , Maharashtra, India 
  • Overall CNG Business Development -  Point of Contact for OMCs, STU, Local Administrative Bodies (Commercial), etc.
  • Commercials: Invoicing and collection from partners (OMC,PMPML, PMC, etc.)
  • EIC for marketing related vendor contracts metal plate, stationery, etc.
  • Business Development CNG Vehicles: Conversion
  • Business Development CNG Vehicles: OEM Sales 
  • Business Development Retail Outlets: Oil Marketing Companies .
  • Business Development Retail Outlets: Greenfield .
  • Commercials: Invoicing and Collection from OMCs and bulk customers .
  • Promotion.
  • Contracts and Policies 
  • Greenfield Station Development
  • OMC RO development for CNG facilities
  • Maximise CNG off-take per vehicle
  • Increase in customer base - LCVs & HCVs, four wheelers, three-.wheelers
  • Liaise with RTO and Retrofitters for increasing number of quality retrofitters primarily for buses and four-wheelers
  • Ensure statutory norms are met for conversion of vehicles (for MNGL), minimizing procedural delays
  • Assistance in creating/increasing presence of retrofitters in areas where new CNG stations are being developed
  • Close co-ordination with OEMs (Maruti Udyog Ltd., Hyundai, Bajaj, TVS, TATA, SML ISUZU, etc.) for promotion of CNG vehicles 
  • Training of OEM sales people for ensuring that customer apprehensions regarding CNG vehicles are addressed
  • Attending to complaints at OEM dealer level for providing good customer experience at point of sale
  • Identification and finalization of OMC Retail Outlets (RO) for establishing CNG facilities
  • Aligning MNGL internal divisions and relevant authorities at OMC for speedy commissioning of such OMC ROs
  • Internal policy and approvals for acquiring private (individuals and organizations) land on lease for MNGL owned CNG Stations.
  • Implementation of policy process leading towards commissioning of such stations
  • Seek land from Government/Semi-Government agencies for development of CNG Stations. Identify and follow activities leading towards final allotment of such land
  • Activities (e.g. Joint Meter Reading) leading to generation of invoices by MNGL F&A for OMC retail outlets and bulk customers (e.g. PMPML and PMC)
  • Ensure timely payment from OMCs and bulk customers
  • Participation in relevant forums for propagation of MNGL work and products ensuring brand promotion amongst target groups
  • Organizing meets and similar events for addressing specific concerns of partners (e.g. Bus Fleet Owners)
  • Depending upon requirement, forming/modifying contracts and agreements with existing and new partners/associates
  • Draft policies for management approval aimed at spread of CNG business (e.g. Land Linked CNG Station Policy)
  • Candidate should be BE / B Tech  (Civil / Mech / Electrical / Chemical / Industrial/ Automobile / Instrumentation / Polymer / Petrochemical) & / or MBA / PGDBM in Marketing.
  • Prior Experience:
  • Minimum 3years of experience
  • Age Group - 25 to 30 years
  • Marketing/Sales, Institutional selling, Industrial Sales,Automobiles
  • Monitoring MArketing / Sales activities in retail & institutional segment skills
