Job Description

  • Location- Saharanpur (Uttar Pradesh)
  • Purpose of the Job 
  • Manage the fleet planning activities to meet with maintenance schedules for the Rolling Stock and act as interface with the Customer.
  • Ensure availability and performance targets are consistently achieved in line with Customer/Commercial requirements.

  • Consistently achieve the availability target in line with Commercial/Customer requirements. 
  • Team People : 0 direct reports 1 to 10 direct reports 11 to 50 direct reports 
  • Responsibilities - lead integration of 
  • Availability and Reliability process in GSI and align with IR - inter functional relationship between departments. 
  • Participate actively in root cause analysis and support waranty team. 
  • Monitor maintenance cost of the Loco and link with contract requirements. 
  • Monitor and deliver timely reports to IR and necessary alignment. 
  • Montitor timely inputs to operations and help them to plan in advance. 
  • Get aligned with reliability growth, applied and applicable configurations of LOCO. 
  • Communication with IR Fleet Operation Management 
  • Definition of the Fleet enhancement strategy with the Customer, 
  • Driver relationships 
  • Communication with Drivers and Action plans from Loco Log Books in order to capture Operation issues and to address them, 
  • Insure the Welcome of the locomotives after EXW from Madhepura 
  • Organize the use of the locomotives on the network of IR 
  • Candidate Requirements 
  • Educational Requirements 
  • Degree or equivalent qualification 
  • IT Literate 
  • Languages : English & Hindi: fluent 
  • Planning & Organising skills 
  • Desired Knowledge / Experience 
  • Experience of rail or maintenance or production industry (minimum 10 years of experience) 
  • Experience of fleet operations
