My Own Eco Energy Pvt. Ltd.

My Eco Energy with a technological partnership with Go fuels a UK based bio-fuel company is 

engaged in the distribution and marketing of Indizel, a Bio-fuel for the very first time in India. We are starting a new chapter in the Indian petroleum industry with our revolutionary product and distribution model. With a vision of energy dependence for the nation we are planning on replicating our globally implemented advanced production technology provided by Go fuels.  

Powering various commercial vehicular mediums like cars, buses, trains, bulldozers, ships and agricultural tractors along with other machinery like electricity generators, industrial boilers & furnaces; Indizel is the next best viable option to conventional fuel mediums.

In our endeavor to expand the outreach of Bio-Diesel in the country, My Eco Energy has outlined a marketing road-map wherein it would target domestic market segments primarily catering to Maharashtra and other neighboring states in the first phase.  

We plan to establish a network of fuel stations across each state and build a clean fuel corridor for easy and convenient access to our fuel at all times. 

Job Description

Location -?Lucknow / Bhubaneshwar (UP/Orissa), India

Purpose of this role:

  • Responsible for overall sales management for the assigned zone.
  • To contribute to the development, implementation, monitoring and review of a business strategy that maximises the net profit by driving sales and controlling costs at Zonal level.
  • P&L delivery / Resource Productivity / Strategic delivery
  • Volume / Profitability / Cycle time / Costs control- Directs and Indirect/ Exposure control 

Network Expansion

  • Develop and ensure implementation of sales strategies for the zone to promote/enroll new dealers, retailers and master Franchisee Development with the support of Central Marketing team. 
  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns and assess against goals at execution 
  • Level. 
  • Monitor market trends and competitors- activities to identify opportunities and key issues. 
  • Align the zone around companys brand's direction, choices and tactics

Budget, Profitability & Cost Efficiency

  • Set targets for assigned sales team in the zone and monitor the same. 
  • Prepare annual budget for the zone and present the same to VP Sales. 
  • Periodically take stock of cost drivers and devise strategies for cost efficiencies for the zone. 
  • Evaluate the financial yardsticks of Dealers, Retailers development, such as budgets, expenditures, return-on-investment and profit-loss projections for existing and proposed dealers, retailers. 
  • Keep check on Operational expenses as per budgets.

P&L Management 

  • Periodically review and ensure that topline, bottom-line, are maintained at agreed levels


People Management 

  • Plan manpower for the zone aligned to business requirements and ensure acquisition of the same at the right time. 
  • Plan and drive employee capability development at the zone. 
  • Drive employee engagement and motivation while championing organisation's values and Code of Conduct for the Zone. 
  • Monitor performance of all direct reportees and provide feedback. 
  • Guide, support and enable the Area Business Heads/TMs to operate at their highest potential


Strategic Roles 

  • Fine tune and align internal business processes to remain competitive. 
  • Discuss and implement cost-effective upgrades of existing products to remain ahead of competition and improve share of business

Operational Roles 
Grow business 

  • Map emerging opportunities, discuss with senior management and prioritize. 
  • Make persuasive case with prospective end customers (through EPC or system integrators or consultants) for pre-qualification of product. 
  • Periodically review and ensure a healthy pipeline of new orders as per geography mix, domain mix, product mix discussed and agreed. 
  • Ensure that supplies to customers are made as per timelines and quality committed and ensure a high customer satisfaction

Key Account Management 

  • Keep strong relations with existing customers and ensure attention to their on-going problems, if any, during use of Company's products. 
  • New Customer and Market development- Identification of Product Potential w.r.t to Regional landscape (Market Potential and legal/ logistics Framework) and aligning Market requirements with Supply chain requisites with respective Product department. 

Marketing of Company 

  • Plan, participate or attend conferences, exhibitions in different parts of India to showcase Company's products, technical capability. 
  • Support preparation of evocative and persuasive collaterals

Commercial 

  • Work with customers proactively to gain an advantage while documenting. 
  • Coordinate with procurement, estimation and oversee accurate and timely response to product delivery process. 
  • Oversee conduct of ""kick-off"" meetings after receipt of customer orders for easy and smooth coordination among various business functions.
  • Oversee timely and accurate invoicing, documentation in support of invoicing, collection.

Tactical Roles 

  • Maintain relations with all external stake-holders (end users, ""influencers"", EPC, managers in public utilities etc). 
  • Maintain cordial relations with internal stake-holders to ensure smooth and easy execution of his business tasks. 
  • Maintain relations with domain experts to be ""ahead of curve"" and drive strategic advantage to company

Liasioning & Legal Roles 

  • Liasioning with various Political, State and local government ministries and should have excellent working relation with government at highest level
  • Interact with State Government Departments / Senior Officials for new initiatives for the company / sector. 
  • Liaise with Government machinery and establish a good working relationship with the various departments and bureaucrats to speed up decisions /permissions affecting the company / sector; resolve issues / push for changes. 
  • Identify, develop and maintain a network of qualified local contacts in Government, business links, leads and agents. 
  • Expertise in securing mandatory approvals from regulatory / statutory authorities, with skills in devising / executing optimal legal solutions in wide-ranging projects and commercial transactions.
