The Performance Analyst for Wells is a key role in our QGC Asset based in Brisbane. You will be responsible for monitoring operational wells performance against agreed Business Improvement Plan targets in accordance with the Global Well Delivery Process. 

Some of the deliverables and accountabilities of the role include;

  • Ensure timely update of Wells Team Performance Dashboard including HSSE and QA/QC elements on a monthly basis.
  • Support Drilling Contract Managers in the development and application of pragmatic performance improvement mechanisms.
  • To ensure Lessons Learned / Best Practices are captured prior to, during and after drilling activities and that these are implemented and disseminated between all groups.
  • Provide front line support for the EDM Open Wells data package including working directly with the Data Manager and Wells EDM Focal Point to ensure data quality and integrity, including the provision of training at office and field locations.
  • Maintain understanding of OPEX activity performance delivery providing cover for OPEX Performance Analyst as and when required.
  • Support development and roll out of reporting tools to drive data quality and enable easy identification of issues to enable real time resolution.


The candidate we are therefore seeking for this position, will have/be; 
  • Significant experience in CSG drilling data collection and analysis.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy and proficiency in excel. A working knowledge of Open Wells is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Drilling Engineering concepts.
  • Demonstrated performance drive with history of facilitating/implementing change and delivery of tangible business improvement delivery.
