Job Description

Our Client, a leading independent Exploration and Production Company with Oil and Gas interests around the world, are currently seeking a Joint Venture Analyst of the highest calibre for a fixed term position based in the UK.
The role and its responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:-

Experience of working for an Oil & Gas Operator would be highly advantageous when considering applying for this role.
Previous experience in an operated Joint Venture accounting environment within the upstream oil industry is desirable. 
The successful candidate will provide functional finance support to the Client's operated assets team. 
The role will involve acting as the focal point between the Operations Team and the Finance Function Team to ensure accounting integrity.
The successful incumbent will report directly to, as well as support, the JV Accounting Team Lead to meet the needs of the business. 
A robust and proven track record of business performance management reporting is required when considering this role. 
Duties to perform shall include the annual preparation of company budgets in accordance with timetables, monthly preparation of Joint Venture Billings and partner reports as well as other JV reporting requirements. 
Candidates must have awareness and understanding of UKCS Joint Operator Agreements. 
The successful candidate will be expected to maintain strong working relationships with the cost engineers and budget holders.
Applications are invited from candidates whom have experience in ensuring Joint Venture reporting requirements are met for month end along with company internal corporate reporting, both actual and forecast. 
The role will incorporate meeting annual budget timetables, meet month end deadlines, monthly completion of control account reconciliations and ensure that all transactions are supported by a clear audit trail.
