JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for planning, management and successful delivery of software solutions to customers in oil and gas industry.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Consults with management and reviews project proposals.
Establish a professional, successful relationship with the client.
Accurately estimate new projects given defined scope of work.
Develops Prepares and presents the statement of work, project plans based on site surveys and requirements gathering.
Lead functional and technical resources in developing, testing and implementing software solutions, data conversions, customizations and interfaces
Establishes standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
Prepares/reviews status reports, schedules and plans as required.
Develops Field Acceptance test plans, KPIs and conducts tests.
Assist with development and implementation of Project methodology.
Provide solution expertise, while managing both internal and external customer expectations.
Able to train team members and customers on system usage and new product features.
Identify cause of problems, report them to the developers and provide support to internal and external clients working on consulting projects which use the company's Optimization software.
Manage project scope and schedule management
Monitor project financials and profitability.
Serve as a liaison between project team and product team
Learn and understand how the Production Optimization products work from the user's perspective.
Train users in system usage and administration. Also, perform with proficiency product demonstrations and facilitate customer discussions, regarding product capability and design in support of the Sales Account Representative.
Manage multiple customer projects
Travel domestically and internationally to support project work as required. This may involve travel over extended periods of time to support testing and commissioning activities at various client sites.

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in Software Project Management Experience in all phases of software deployment including scope definition, requirements definition, Installation, structured project methodology and ongoing customer support.
Ability to lead functional and technical resources in developing, testing and implementing software solutions, data conversions, customizations and interfaces
Microsoft Office Suite and Project planning software
Excellent customer relationship skills
B. S. Engineering / Computer Science or comparable experience in the role.
5 years experience in similar role
Extensive domestic travel
Preferred:
Experience in Oil and Gas Production software
Knowledge of Artificial Lift Systems, SCADA
Experience in selling professional services
Masters
Working knowledge of Production and Optimization software
Programming and database skills
PMP Certification
