Responsible for Directional Drilling & MLWD downhole services to customer according to well plans.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the directional drilling operation at the wellsite that ensures the desired directional path and drilling targets are achieved in a safe and economic manner.
Responsible for BHA being assembled as per well / engineering plan.
Responsible for the operation, inspection and maintenance of motors and downhole tools at rig site.
Responsible for the generation and content of daily and Final Well reports on services performed.
Responsible for maintaining well profile plots and providing customer with directional survey data.
Collaborates with the DD/MWD/LWD team to ensure BHA specification and engineering optimization parameters are realized.
Maintains equipment records of equipment at wellsite.
Responsible for the operation of the LWD field surface software
Responsible for the rig up and rig down of equipment.
Responsible for operation and configuration of downhole LWD tools.
Responsible for ensuring that operational specifications (limits) of the downhole LWD tools are not exceeded.
Responsible for quality of field reports.
Responsible for the data quality provided to customer.
Participate in field incident root cause analysis.
Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

Relevant industry experience. Requires competency assessment upon hire to evaluate level of knowledge.
24+ months as DD III or 24+ months as MLWD III
Met all DD III training and competency requirements and MLWD III competency requirements
Bachelor's degree or Experience in relevant service line within Weatherford
Excellent communication, organization, troubleshooting and teamwork skills.
Positive attitude and a high degree of self-discipline and motivation
Must be available to travel extensively domestically and internationally.
Able to relate to rig-site personnel at all levels.
Experiences with Rotary Steerable tools
36+ months as DD III or 36+ months as MLWD III
Thorough knowledge of Drilling Systems products and services
