Job Description

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

Management of Chevron Sampling and Analysis program

  • Build new sample points in ProTrend.
  • Create monthly sample schedule
  • Submit validated samples to 3 rd party processors, Production Accounting and all other stakeholders
  • Manage ProTrend application. Sets up new users
  • Validation of 3 rd party processors that they are using most current data
  • Management of validation of samples. Run monthly validation report

  • Maintains Chevrons Measurement Metrics

  • Collect and display data to populate the Measurement Metrics display
  • Runs Measurement reports.

  • Coordinates reoccurring Measurement related meetings

  • Compliance assessment indicators meeting
  • Measurement and Production Accounting meeting
  • Manages and maintains action items logs for meetings

  • Management of Measurement and Regulatory data

  • Collect review and store all new pad turnover documentation
  • Manage and maintain meter calibration spreadsheets
  • Manages and maintains action items logs for meetings
  • Work with information management on document retention and storage
  • QC of all Measurement records, calibration reports and site inspection reports for completeness prior to storage

  • Qualifications:
    • Moderate to advanced knowledge of gas and liquid measurement and devices
    • Knowledge of gas and measurement regulatory requirements an asset
    • Moderate knowledge of SCADA systems
    • 10 years of relevant upstream oil & gas experience supporting operational facilities
    • Advanced skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
    • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work with minimal supervision.
    • Experience leading teams, coordinating work and interfacing with many stakeholders in multiple locations
    • Demonstrated commitment to behavioral based safety programs and ensuring incident and injury free working conditions.
    • Ability to represent Chevron's interests in a constructive and professional manner during interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Strong written/verbal and presentation skills and team/inter-team work skills
    • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
