Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

·Rig up and rig down of casing and tubing running equipment ·Troubleshoot computer software and electronics hardware as required ·Operate torque-turn computer during casing and tubing running operations offshore and onshore ·Interpret and assess graphical representations of tubular makeups ·Create job reports and event logs upon completion of the job for submission to supervisor ·Perform routine calibration and packing of Joint Analyzed Makeup (JAM) equipment. ·Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of JAM equipment. ·Maintain records of sales and service. ·Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions. ·Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford. ·Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level. ·Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

POSITION SPECIFIC DETAILS

  • 0 - 1 year experience Offshore/Deepwater work experience
  • Torque-Turn/Thread inspection experience preferred
  • General knowledge of electronic troubleshooting
  • Good communication skills
  • Good computer skills (Windows XP/7, Microsoft Office Required)
