Job Description

For our Client who is a global leader in smart technologies and complete life-cycle solutions for the marine and energy markets, we are now seeking for Discipline Leader.


  • Lead the team within the discipline area
  • Develop the discipline team skills and competences
  • Report to the GM PM&E proposals concerning engineering resources development
  • Perform administrative tasks for his resources in coordination with the GM PM&E and HR
  • Promptly report team status, issues and workload
  • Responsible for supporting the Discipline Responsible (DR) persons (if needed) 
  • Develop effective design and engineering services and way of working
  • Provide support to other units upon request (e.g. resources, technical questions etc.)
  • Leadership skills and experience managing of the teams
  • Very good command of English
  • Cadmatic and Auto Cad skills
  • Communication, presentation and influencing skills
  • Achieving results
  • Decisiveness and action orientation
  • Planning and target setting
  • Developing self and others
  • Engineering master's degree is required
  • 5 years of experience as Project Engineer at shipyard, design office or similar
