Laboratory Technologist I
The Lab Technologist works with chemists, engineers, and other lab technologists to test new materials, develop new products, and document results. The Lab Technologist should have a strong work ethic, interest in running and maintaining lab equipment to ensure a high quality of information to support projects. The Lab Technologist should possess a mechanical aptitude, the ability to perform laboratory tests and basic interpretation of results. Suitable candidates should be able to identify sources of error in standard tests and identify when equipment is malfunctioning. Teamwork and proactive communication of results are critical to success in this position. This position requires the ability to adapt your work to the needs of the business, often with tight timelines for testing.
We are looking a motivated Technologist to join our proppant conductivity lab and our geomechanics lab. Ideal candidates would have experience with proppant testing, fracture conductivity testing, and/or geomechanical testing. Working knowledge of LabVIEW, Quizix pumps, and high pressure testing are beneficial.
Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for a higher level role given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs.
