Job Description

Worley is currently recruiting a Onshore Timekeeper to join our Oil and Gas project delivery operation based in Aberdeen for 6 months.

Primary duties:

  • Maintain timely / accurate daily input of hours into time-writing system (against appropriate Jobcards) ensuring workforce are paid on time and project progress is kept up to date
  • Act as single point of contact for project personnel to deal with ad-hoc queries at source and minimise associated on/offshore intervention requirements
  • Manage onshore expectations in terms of accuracy of data entry to support delivery of client reporting requirements
  • Support offshore supervision collation of timesheet information for offshore workforce
  • Interrogate timesheet content to ensure accuracy in line with project-specific Job-carding
  • Facilitate accuracy of client cost allocation to enable pass-through to corresponding WBS codes
  • Responsible for accuracy / auditability of project data to enable meaningful interrogation in support of key internal / external reporting requirements
  • Manage time-writing database according to project-specific requirements
  • Creation of new-start information in time-writing system and ensure accuracy of trade descriptions assigned at all times
  • Input onshore working hours for Offshore labour personnel
  • Maintain records of Offshore Vendor visitors
  • Interface between multiple project functions: HR, Logistics, Commercial, Project Controls
  • Single point of contact for offshore personnel in relation to Payroll queries, holiday requests etc to deal with issues at source and minimise additional on/offshore intervention
  • Coordinate communications between onshore management functions and offshore personnel

Required qualifications / certification:

Qualifications/Training:

Essential:

  • Experience in Timekeeping / Timenet System (preferably offshore timenet)
  • Experience in the O&G Industry
  • IT Literate (Excel / Word / Powerpoint etc)
  • Worley mandatory training, induction, risk awareness, etc

Experience:

Essential:

  • Willingness to work as an integral team member, but also highly capable of working to own initiative to meet role responsibilities
  • Ability to proactively manage timely and accurate input of timesheet information into Timewriting system for Offshore labour personnel to ensure entire workforce correctly paid and on time
  • Ability to manage time to meet tight Payroll and month end deadlines
  • Input Standby / Training / Holiday / Other elements into Timenet system for Offshore labour personnel
  • Chase and set up all New Start and Leaver paperwork
  • Set up new codes / rates / personnel into systems and corresponding trackers and efficiently maintain them
  • Analyse Rota and feedback to Logistics/HR personnel on issues, following through to resolution
  • Liaise with Logistics to ensure all daily Mob / Demobs are picked up
  • Liaise with onshore to pick up any training / standby hours required to be entered into Timenet system; ensure all time / allowances entered as per signed timesheets
  • Ensure all workforce hours have been allocated to timesheets and entered into Timenet
  • Ability to interface and interact with Offshore Personnel / Management and Client Representatives at all levels
  • Liaise with Supervision to ensure correct job card numbers have been submitted on timesheets
  • Ensure signed timesheets have been stored in appropriate folder
