Job Description

Location - ?Haryana-New Delhi, India

ROLE OVERVIEW

  • There is a vacancy in the New Delhi office for BIM Engineer with experience in MEP projects.
  • A minimum of Ten years' industrial experience is required for this position. 
  • Candidate should have held a responsible position in Infrastructure projects using Revit.   

The BIM Mechanical Engineer will perform following duties:

  • Review of Scope, configuration, process package for completeness of Mechanical related data
  • Review of PFDs, PIDs, Data sheets.
  • Develop technical specifications for Equipment/Package. Review of specifications from Client / PMC
  • Participating in IDC process. Interaction with Engineering disciplines, Clients / PMC, Bidders / Vendors
  • Design, preparation of MRQs/SRQs. Review of Quotes, analyzing deviations, raising of TQs, TBEs, MRPs/SRPs
  • Review of Vendor Prints 
  • Resolving Vendor/Site queries. Interaction with Inspection Agencies, Expeditors, other agencies for delivery of Equipment/Packages
  • Providing Inputs/Review for Progress reporting
  • Supporting the project through construction and commissioning phases
  • Specific capabilities required for the role include experience in:
  • Comprehensive hands on experience of working in Revit and implementing BIM requirements up to LOD 400 in a cross functional multidiscipline environment
  • Knowledge of model development process, data control, clash check, data management system with BIM
  • Have experience in developing BIM documentation, roles and responsibilities of team implementing BIM
  • Awareness of configuration and support related to BIM
  • Understanding of best practices of Revit architecture and BIM, interfaces with software other BIM related software and how they work with Revit
  • Quality control for completeness and adherence to company standards of drawings produced
Education required (minimum):
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university.  
  • Candidate will be required to:
  • Coordinates technical issues with other departments on projects including constructability requirements and reviews.
  • Develop standard documentation for use on projects
  • Travel to support activities at construction sites, supplier's works or in other engineering offices.
