Hydrostatically test gas lift equipment to find weakness in the welds or pinholes in the material, operate a hydraulic press to insure equipment id drifts.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs ID and OD drifts.
Pressure test mandrel to engineering specifications using hydro test pump and chart recorder
Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Load and unload gas lift valves into mandrels
Painting of Gas Lift mandrels
Grinding various tools
Straighten mandrels using hydraulic press
Operate and maintain kickover tools and accessories
2-4+ years related experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Workplace Certifications as required
Test or Press experience preferred.
