Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for HES support and OE implementation across the EMEA region. Identify risk and ensure safeguards/controls are in place and effective
  • Provide day to day office building Health Environment and Safety construction site, and project safety, including safety in design, legislative plan compliance, site safety, incident investigation, contractor safety assessments, Motor Vehicle Safety (MVS), Emergency Preparedness (EP), Incident Investigations and safe work practices across CEMREC (Chevron Environmental Management Business Real Estate Services) managed sites in region and on-site leadership to operations teams, project managers and functional support teams
  • Liaison with local business partners (landlord and tenant organizations) and CEMREC on-site team members on all operational excellence, health environment and safety, and emergency preparedness issues
  • Work with partner organization to find synergies and utilize appropriate OE HES opportunities to co-ordinate and streamline processes that cross organizational boundaries including supporting OE activities for customers as required
  • Keep updated on legislative and regulative building codes and industry best practices and shares across CEMREC and partner organizations
  • Liaise with external networks to share industry safety standards both internally and externally
  • Supports operation team and regional business on implementation of operational excellence processes and manages local skills databases to ensure fit for purpose training and skill sets
  • Participate in OE self- assessments, incident Investigations, and internal audit


Required Qualifications:
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in Health, Environment and Safety (HES) or Engineering alternatively NeBOSH General certificate or CMIOSH with relevant experience
  • Safety Certification, ISO experience is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience emphasis on safety, health and environment
  • Experience in facility management and operations is preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills, and analytical skills
  • Strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing business priorities and customer needs and work schedules
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
