Job Description

  • Project Controls Manager
  • Provide guidance and support for capital projects from a global perspective regarding project controls
  • Provide forecasting, trend analysis, as well as monitoring budgets, invoicing, cash flow, etc.
  • Oversee one or more projects at any given time from development stages
  • Reporting throughout project life cycles
  • Support team regarding any issues with cost, schedules, and changes
  • Provide any reports to management with insight to any cost schedules & variances and suggestions to corrective actions
  • Project Controls Manager
  • Bachelor’s in an engineering discipline
  • 10+ years of experience as a project controls manager  with a focus in the chemical and/or petrochemical industry
  • Experience as Project Controls Manager or similar management role on projects an excess of $200 million including experience internationally
  • Extensive background with cost engineering principles and methods; budgeting, change management, contingency allocation, etc.
  • Strong experience using various computer skills; SAP, P6, P3, etc.
  • Strong leadership and team building skills
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong tenure displaying stability and duration with previous employers
