Minimum 2 - 4 years corporate meeting/event support services experience
Applicant must be able to work well within a team environment and at times, independently
Good written & oral communications skills and strong customer service skills
Attention to detail and procedures
Ability to oversee multiple ongoing projects simultaneously
Experience with meeting/convention services, coordination of room set-ups, F&B set ups & services, AV basic operations and registration processes are required
Computer skills with proficiency in MS Office (especially Outlook), Excel & PowerPoint
Basic knowledge of AV equipment and ability to lift & carry 20 lbs.
Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
Responsibilities will include operations of the Marathon Oil conference center space and the Level 29 conference spaces, coordination of set-ups and maintenance of meeting spaces with designated vendors, providing support to the AV/Stream team and the corporate meeting planner as directed. This job also includes maintaining an inventory of meeting & event supplies, scheduling and coordinating ground transportation needs, scheduling the maintenance and use of the department vehicles and performing on the stream/broadcast team as directed and more. This position is eligible for a 9/80 work schedule. Your standard core hours will be 7am to 4pm, yet flexibility will be required to accommodate client needs and meeting/event schedules.
Ideal candidates will have a strong personal drive, a desire to go above & beyond, will have good critical thinking skills and the ability to "think outside of the box". Your ability to provide outstanding customer service at all times, including under tight deadlines and under stressful onsite circumstances will also be expected.
