As Maintenance Team Lead - Planning within our Central Workshop, you'll be coaching and managing a team of planners, transport coordinators and administrative staff. What's the role?
This is both a challenging and rewarding role, where you'll be making a vital contribution to improving safety, reliability, performance and operating costs at Pernis. With wide-ranging responsibilities, you'll lead and coach a multi-skilled team, driving optimum maintenance efficiency across the site's variety of rotating and static equipment.
As a team lead you are overall responsible for an efficient and complete work preparation of all the work that is offered to the Central Workshop from the various professional disciplines, such as: Rotating and static equipment repairs (corrective and preventive) for both routine maintenance and turnaround related maintenance. In addition, you are also responsible for keeping track of the workplace budget, this plays a major role in cost leadership management and maintains several contracts as a contract holder.
To succeed, you'll have a positive approach to manage, coach and help your employees with their competencies and, where necessary, to indicate in time where training or specific work is needed to further increase the knowledge and skills of employees.
You'll also need to be confident managing multiple contracts, and comfortable playing a leading role in cost and budget management. As well as ensuring all work hits the high standards we expect in terms of quality, cost and Health and Safety. Other duties will include:

What we need from you
We're keen to hear from men and women with extensive experience of leading a maintenance team, with a proven flair for cost management. Along with an impressive Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, you'll also be fluent in Dutch and English.
Your excellent leadership and personal skills will really see you shine in the role. You'll be confident supporting and inspiring a team, and able to coach and develop employees effectively. At the same time, you'll successfully nurture good working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, from planners to contractors.
