Job Description
 

  • Member of a measurement team tasked with LACT calibration, maintenance on line integrity equipment and maintenance of Company owned as well as third party platforms as per contracts across the Gulf of Mexico. Measurement duties on both Crude Oil and Natural Gas Meters
  • Maintenance and repair of line integrity equipment, technical focal point, Calibration of both Crude Oil and Natural Gas Custody Transfer Meters, writing custody transfer tickets and calibration reports, troubleshooting and calibration of all LACT equipment, Compliance of Measurement and Crude Quality Policies, Loss/Gain Analysis
  • Ensure accurate measurement at each receipt and delivery point on a vast network of offshore pipeline systems
  • Daily travel to various offshore locations by helicopter
  • Schedule is 7/7 Offshore Operations based out of Gibson, Louisiana

Requirements
 
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
  • High school diploma required and/or Associate's degree preferred in electronics, instrumentation or related field from an accredited college or technical school
  • Minimum of two (2) years of industry experience in measurement, instrumentation, and/or electronics required
  • Prior work experience in the Gas or Liquid Measurement field highly preferred
  • Highly proficient in SAP preferred
  • Position is offshore which requires several helicopter flights per day and be able to climb numerous steps that are common on offshore production facilities. Must be capable of completing Shell approved HUET (Helicopter Underwater Egress Training) and HLO (Helicopter Landing Officer) Training Courses
  • Must be able to swim
  • Must be able to obtain a TWIC Card
  • Must be highly motivated and able to deliver a good quality job on time
  • Proven experience with effective interpersonal communications skills with all levels, including management, internal and external customers and team members
